Christmas Tours

A Time for Adventure, Fun & Camaraderie

With autumn here, our days are definitely cooler and our evenings are getting longer—soon the excitement of the holiday season will be upon us. That can mean only one thing: it’s time to get into the spirit of Christmas!  What better way to do it than to visit places well known for their Christmas attractions, world-class shopping opportunities, or Broadway-caliber holiday shows?

Christmas tours are amazing because it seems as if there truly is magic in the air during this oh-so-special time of the year. Many venues are decked out for the holidays, there is a festive atmosphere nearly everywhere and many folks are filled with a sense of wonderment and joy that harkens back to a simpler, more innocent time. Looking for something fun to do? We’ve got several awesome Christmas tours planned and all you have to do is say ‘yes’ and pack your bags!

We have three amazing tours to Branson—each of them offers a wonderful variety of entertaining shows and other interesting highlights. If you’ve never been to Branson, you owe it to yourself to find out for yourself why it’s remained a popular destination for years—especially at Christmas time! We’ll see many of the tops acts and enjoy sightseeing in the breathtakingly beautiful and ever-so-hilly Ozarks area. Tour dates Nov. 1-5 (includes a delightful excursion to Eureka Springs), Nov. 8-12, and Nov. 15-19.

Another fantastic tour is our “Chicago Christmas Shopping” tour (Dec. 1-3). We’ll whisk you away to Chicago where our first stop will be at Navy Pier which juts 3,300 feet out into Lake Michigan and offers restaurants, shops and a variety of entertainment. The views of Chicago’s skyline from Navy Pier are breathtaking and may indeed be the best part of the trip!

We’ll also visit Christkindlmarket—an outdoor holiday market located in Daley Plaza in downtown Chicago.  Reminiscent of the Christkindlmarket in Nuremberg, Germany, Chicago’s Christkindlmarket features a variety of German foods and beverages. Just imagine: fresh strudel, snow balls, warm pretzels, delicious schnitzel, weisswurst, yummy baked apples, German beers and other goodies too numerous to mention! There is also a wide variety of entertainment and unique holiday shopping opportunities to enjoy at the open-air market. Christkindlmarket is a favorite and much-loved stop for many visitors to Chicago!

You’ll also have ample time to shop along the appropriately named Magnificent Mile, which is widely regarded as one of the best shopping destinations in the country! This shopping district on North Michigan Avenue is oozing with upscale boutiques, department stores and charming restaurants amid a backdrop of Chicago’s glorious architecture like the Chicago Water Tower, the Tribune Tower and the Wrigley Building. This is truly shopping at its finest!

This shopping tour to Chicago will appeal to multi-taskers—you get to enjoy the holiday festivities in Chicago, do some sightseeing and get your holiday shopping done! Plus, we’ll navigate the traffic so you can relax and soak in the sights of Chicago’s stunning skyline.

We will also be pilgriming to Omaha for our fascinating “Christmas Around the World” tour (Dec. 6-10). This tour is action-packed with a wide variety of activities. We’ll enjoy an international Christmas celebration: Olde England Madrigal Christmas feast, Christmas in the Ukraine presentation, Christmas in Germany dinner, Greek holiday dinner and an Irish music and dance presentation. We’ll also visit the Lauritzen Botanical Gardens to take in the Poinsettia Show, enjoy a performance of “The Christmas Carol” and take in many more fun activities!
